Road Trip on March 17, 2017

This road trip proved to be a pleasant time and uneventful. My daughter, Shelly, and I went up Pumphouse Road to Old Reid Park in Springfield, Ohio. We stopped at the old bridge that spans Buck Creek. The bridge is part of the Buck Creek Trail, no vehicles pass over it anymore, just pedestrians and bicycles. About a hundred feet to the east of the bridge, a small dam lets the creek spill over it. Years ago it was a place for the kids to splash and play. The parents would bring picnic lunches, and enjoy the day.. Now it deserted, and "No Swimming" signs are posted.

We left the park and backtracked up Route 4 in Clark County. We turned off on Old Mechanicsburg Road and went through New Morefield. Then just started looking for barns, farms, and scenery on the old country roads we passed. We got a lot of great pictures, we went up and  down, and back and forth. The inevitable happened, I got turned and lost. No problem, though. My daughter opened her phone and Siri bailed us out.  Most of the pictures taken on this road trip will be posted soon.
